Believe With Me, Day Sixty-Four… Spreading Love and Light Across the Earth, and being on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about kindness too!
Did you know that dispensing truthful information in small snippets in a non-judgmental and non-threatening style allows for absorption of wisdom on the soul level? When we are helping someone see the way to the truth in any situation, we can guide that soul with patience, ask questions, and plant seeds of knowledge without preaching. A soul must gain wisdom by gathering information in whatever way works best. It is impossible to force wisdom on another, because each person has a choice to determine how and if it will be received. An Illuminator of the truth understands that each person may learn at a different speed and we honor all paths.
Things to keep in mind when teaching others:
- Patience is key.
- Guide rather than preach.
- Plant seeds of truth and knowledge with love.
Here are some teaching-the-truth delivery tips:
Place your hand over your heart when you begin speaking. This movement indicates your intention to become completely present in the conversation and keeps you grounded in the location of love.
Pepper questions throughout the teaching conversation instead of using stand-alone statements. This technique creates dialogue and prevents the person in the learning position from feeling as if you are preaching.
“Have you ever thought of it this way?”
Example of out-of-alignment teaching:
“When you lie to someone you are doing wrong by people. It’s so obvious. Can’t you see that?”
Example of in-alignment teaching:
“Consider this for a moment. If you look at the situation and use the Golden Rule, can you understand how you would feel if you found out someone had deceived you by telling a similar untruth?”
